Thank you for your interest in becoming part of Mereside Primary School staff team. This is a very exciting and unique opportunity in working with our experienced teaching and support staff team to ensure that we and our children become ‘the best that we can be’.

Mereside Primary School is part of the Fylde Coast Academy Trust (FCAT). FCAT is a Multi Academy Trust with 10 primary and secondary schools across the Fylde Coast and Lancashire with a proven track record of delivering rapid improvement in progress and outcomes.

We endeavour to work together with parents, governors and the local community to provide high quality care and education through continuous improvement.   Encouraging all children to enjoy learning, develop their best potential and show mutual respect for one another. We promote independence and hope that all our pupils become ‘life-long learners’.

We are seeking to appoint a Permanent Behaviour Mentor who will work within ‘Team Mereside’ to support and address the needs of pupils to overcome barriers to learning. The ideal candidate will have appropriate experience for this role and will be enthusiastic, committed and flexible and who work well on their own initiative, as well as part of a team.

Within your application you should state clearly why you are the ideal candidate for this role stating examples of how you have contributed to high standards of supporting pupils teaching and learning.
