Salary: Points 28-34 on the NJC Pay Scale currently £25,463-£30,756 per annum
Pro rata equivalent salary reflective of Term Time Only + 10 additional days currently £22,432-£27,095 per annum.
Contract: Permanent; Full Time (37 hours per week); Term Time Only + 10 additional days per year

As the Governance Lead for the Fylde Coast Academy Trust (FCAT) you will be a core member of our energetic and forward-thinking Central Services team. You will drive the provision and direction of FCAT’s Governance Service ensuring it remains high quality, effective, efficient and responsive to statutory and Trust requirements. You will have excellent knowledge of governance legislation and best practice in this area with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You will work with high levels of initiative and organisation in this fast-paced role.
FCAT is a large Multi Academy Trust committed to promoting excellence in teaching, learning and leadership. We have 10 academies locally with primary, secondary and all-through including: Aspire Academy, Unity Academy, Montgomery High School, Garstang Community Academy, Hambleton Primary Academy, Westcliff Primary Academy, Blackpool Gateway Academy, Mereside Primary School and Westminster Primary Academy. Our brand new all through school Armfield Academy opened in September 2018.
FCAT delivers a number of core Central Services to our academies and the Trust Governance Lead role is intrinsic to facilitating academy and Trust improvement. This is an exciting and varied role for which we require a professional, confident and reliable individual with a genuine enthusiasm for Governance who can lead this team and service to provide first-class provision to the Trust.
