Computer science is a part of the Ebacc Faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering lessons to key stage three and four.

The Role


The candidate will be required to assess and monitor progress in line with Academy policies.  Year 7 – 9 use the Teach Computing resources and schemes which are also used in primary to ensure continuity across the academy. There will also be the opportunity to develop and share resources with other staff teaching these year groups and contribute to our extra-curricular offer. At GCSE year 10 and 11 computer science classes follow the OCR J277. There is one year 11 IT class who follow the BTEC in Digital Information Technology. Excellent subject knowledge and experience of teaching these GCSE courses is essential.
