On Wednesday 20th January teachers from across the Fylde Coast Academy Trust came together for a Teaching and Learning Market Place hosted by Blackpool Sixth Form College and the Fylde Coast Teaching School. They were joined by representatives from the local maths hub and science networks to share best practice in all aspects of teaching and learning. Senior leaders also hosted stalls showcasing best practice in leadership and training.
In all about 150 Staff from Aspire, Unity and Montgomery engaged enthusiastically with the 35 stalls provided and networked with colleagues. The event is the second of three collaborative events which punctuate the CPD calendar for FCAT staff allowing them focused time and space to gather best practice in line with performance targets, which are to be reviewed in the upcoming mid-year reviews.
